About the Designer

My husband, Nathan, and I grew up right here in Dickson, TN. We have always loved this community. We have two wonderful children who are 19 and 15. We enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling and watching Tennessee football on the weekends.

I’ve been in the design industry for more than 25 years. I began my journey in college as a fine art student, but graphic design stole my heart and I switched paths. I’ve never looked back! I was hired as a graphic artist at a packaging company and stayed there nearly 8 years until our son was born. I began doing freelance work and soon after I started my own business, The Color Theory. I am passionate about art and design and I’m always honored to be a part of someone’s business adventure. I also enjoy small projects and making crafts and gifts for family and friends.
